Temple Beth Israel Membership Information 5786 (2025–26)

At Temple Beth Israel of Highland Park and Eagle Rock, membership is more than an annual commitment—it is a sacred act of sustaining Jewish life in Northeast LA. Our community is built on the principle that every soul who seeks connection, meaning, and belonging should be embraced with open arms. That’s why 35–40% of our members are on some form of reduced dues, and we will never let financial constraints stand in the way of being part of our spiritual home. And yet, it will take approximately $350,000 to keep TBI running in 5786—a fraction of what most nearby synagogues require. Those who are able to step forward as Builders, Guardians, or Chai Members take on the sacred responsibility of supporting something larger than themselves: a community of learning, prayer, justice, compassion, and care. Regardless of your membership tier, by sustaining TBI, you ensure that we can continue to uplift, inspire, and hold one another—through joy, through struggle, and through the rhythms of Jewish life.
