Programs for Babies, Toddlers, and Preschoolers
Babies, Toddlers, and Preschoolers
From the very first days of life, TBI is here to celebrate, support, and nurture your family’s Jewish journey. We believe that children are not simply the future of the Jewish people—they are our present as well. Their voices, laughter, and even cries are a beautiful reminder of our community’s vitality. At all of our Shabbat and holiday services year-round, children and families of all ages are warmly welcomed. Any sounds they make are never a hindrance; they are the music of Jewish life continuing from generation to generation.
Young couples and families are by far the most rapidly growing part of our community, and we are committed to being the best possible place to raise Jewish children. To that end, we are very proud of our Kindershul—a dedicated space with games, toys, and Jewish books where families can take little ones during services while still being able to hear and participate actively!
Alongside our regular services, we are proud to offer special programs designed especially for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers:
Friday Night Tot Shabbat
On the third Friday evening of each month, families gather for a lively, musical Tot Shabbat service. With stories, song, and movement, Tot Shabbat helps little ones experience the joy of Shabbat in an age-appropriate way. The start time shifts throughout the year to match Shabbat’s arrival—please check our events calendar for the most up-to-date time.
A.M. Tot Shabbat
On the first Saturday morning of each month at 11:00am, join us for a special Tot Shabbat designed for toddlers and preschoolers. With music, interactive storytelling, and a playful introduction to Shabbat morning prayers, this service is a perfect way to connect young families to the rhythm of Jewish life.
Monthly Baby Play Group
For families with children under 24 months, our Baby Play Group meets on the fourth Sunday of each month at 1:00pm. This informal gathering offers parents and caregivers a chance to connect while little ones explore, play, and grow together in a warm, supportive community.

I would love to meet you and your family! Please feel free to schedule a time with me so we can connect. I am also honored to officiate lifecycle rituals for young children, including baby namings, brit milah, and pidyon haBen. We love all of our families with littles, and we can't wait to welcome yours to the community.
