Each of us is sustained by sacred spaces—places that ground us, uplift us, and remind us who we are. For hundreds of individuals and families in Northeast Los Angeles, Temple Beth Israel of Highland Park and Eagle Rock is one of those places. It is where we gather to pray, to learn, to celebrate, and to mourn. Where children are called to the Torah, where elders are honored, and where generations meet and grow together in community.

But Temple Beth Israel does not exist by miracle alone. It is built and sustained each day by those who invest their hearts and resources into its future.

Our Builder, Guardian, and Chai members are Temple Beth Israel’s most committed supporters—those whose generosity ensures that we can remain a home for all who seek a vibrant, inclusive, traditional-but-egalitarian Jewish life in the heart of Northeast LA. Their support allows us to keep our doors open wide, even as nearly 40% of our members receive some form of dues reduction. At a time when synagogue life can feel inaccessible to many, these members make Jewish community possible for all.

Annual Commitment Levels:

• Builder – Individual: $2,100/year or $175/month
• Builder – Couple/Family: $3,800/year or $317/month
• Guardian: $5,000/year or $417/month
• Chai: $10,000/year or $833/month

As a thank you for your extraordinary commitment, Builder, Guardian, and Chai members receive:

• Recognition on our donor board prominently displayed in the TBI sanctuary
• Invitations to quarterly gatherings with TBI’s professional and lay leadership for insider updates and visioning conversations

In addition, Guardian and Chai members receive:

• Up to two free Gilberg Family Religious School tuitions each year, for either their own children/grandchildren, or to be donated to sponsor a family in need of financial aid

And of course—your dues are fully tax-deductible.
