🍋 Volunteer Appreciation Party in the Booth 🌿
October 8th at 7:30pm

If you volunteered for High Holidays, or would like to show your appreciation for our committee, grab a drink and food for this relaxed Zoom social hour. We will share stories and honor our volunters. We will also continue our custom of each person having a chance to symbolically invite personal Ushpizin (relatives, friends, or personal heros) into our shared virtual Sukkah. If you'd like to get creative, click here to learn to make a special holiday coctail with the After Shul Club.

🍋 Simchat Torah 🌧
October 10th at 7:30pm

Come finish the Holiday Season with a fun read through Perek Shirahthe Jewish Say-and-Speak. Our tradition imagines that during creation, animals, plants, and cosmic bodies were each assigned verses from the Tanakh that symbolize their nature. For example, the Frog says... "Ribbit, Blessed is God's Name forever and ever." We will be reading the verses together (in English) in animal voices. This service will be fun for kids and meaningful for adults as we will have the chance to both moo like Cows and explore the place of Cows in the Cosmos. At the conclusion of the evening, we will read the end of the Torah together in English.
