Temple Beth Israel of Highland Park and Eagle Rock
Passover at TBI
One of our most popular activities is our annual
Second-Night Passover Seder
This year it's on Tuesday night, March 30, 2010 at 5:30 p.m.
This is a time when you can come and meet other Temple Beth Israel people. Our parents, our school people, our Saturday Minyan people, our interested parties, neighbors, friends, and friends of all the above sit with us to celebrate the joy of our freedom.
Again this year, Mark Strunin, our Director of Education, and Cantor Ken Rothstein will lead us in the prayers, rituals, and songs of the season.
Again this year we'll have a delicious full dinner catered by Gina Segal of www.ginafeeds.com. Her brisket is -- no offense, but it compares favorably with your grandother's, and her vegetarian entrees are equally good.
The seder before the meal, the meal, and the seder after the meal take about two hours. There will be children in attendance, and sections of the service are directed to children, but due to space limitations we won't be providing childcare.
A word to the wise: We sell out. Buy now.
Advance reservations with ticket purchase are required.
