  • High Holiday admission is free to TBI members.
  • For visitors, adult admission is $75 per adult. This includes all services. Admission to family services only is $50 per family. This includes the Tashlich service on the afternoon of Rosh Hashanah (first day), and the family service on the afternoon of Yom Kippur.   • Again this year, we will have a Memorial Book to list the names of people to be read at the Yizkor service for the departed. Listings are $18 for the first name you want listed and $4 for each additional name. You can use the PayPal form here, or download a printed form to send in. We would like the first and last name of the person you wish to honor and, if you know it, the Hebrew name and date of death.

  • The schedule is here.
  • We use the Machzor Hadash by Rabbis Sidney Greenberg and Jonathan Levine.
  • Our services are conducted by our Acting Rabbi, Susan Goldberg, in cooperation with Cantor Ken Rothstein and assisted by members of the congregation.
  • When you come, please bring canned goods, dry food, or sanitary items for SOVA, the food pantry of the Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles.
  • We have a full set of services, including Rosh Hashanah eve, first day of Rosh Hashanah, second day of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur eve, and Yom Kippur day.
  • On the afternoon of the first day of Rosh Hashanah and on the afternoon of Yom Kippur, we have special active observances for families with children.
  • We break for a couple of hours on Yom Kippur afternoon. Then we come back to complete the day's services.
  • On the days of Rosh Hashanah, we have kiddushes sponsored by the congregation, with potluck contributions welcome. We have a potluck break-the-fast after services late on Yom Kippur afternoon. If you bring pot luck, dairy or vegetarian only, please - no meat, poultry, or shellfish. (Or squid.)
  • We conduct the tashlich ritual at a local site with running water.
  • You are welcome to attend as much or as little as you like.
  • During the adult services, there is space for children in the service or in the social hall adjacent to the sanctuary. Child care is provided on the morning of Yom Kippur and on the first day of Rosh Hashanah. Children are welcome to attend as much of the adult services as they can stand.
  • The yizkor memorial service for the departed takes place some time between 11:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Yom Kippur day.
